A CFA member is listing a used knuckleboom truck crane for sale. This 2006 Sterling COPMA LP 450 has a 450 hp Mercedes engine, replaced at around 80,000 miles. Also replaced at that time was the PTO, PTO pump and clutch under the prior owner.

Additional specifications include Eaton 8LL and 121,700 miles on the truck presently. The truck has “ice cold” A/C and is a very strong and tight truck.

The rated capacity of the crane is 2,550 lbs. at 78 feet (full extension). The remote has not worked for the current owner since acquisition and they have all hardware and actuators. Current owner reports “I’ve not had the time to take this in for service to fix the remote.” This truck is otherwise ready for work.

Reason for selling is to liquidate equipment to buy a new set of forms (CapX swap) as they have replaced with a newer truck earlier in the year and don’t have a need for two at present. Will consider a trade for a set of 8-ft Western aluminum forms with gaskets and pinlocks.
